On October 24, 2023, the Chemistry and Environmental Science Department held a solemn inauguration ceremony for the 2023-2024 academic year. The event was attended by distinguished guests and university leaders, as well as a large number of students, faculty, and staff from the department.
The distinguished guests included:
- Dr. Pham Thanh Minh - Director of the Center for Research and Production of Radioactive Isotopes, Nuclear Research Institute.
- Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Hien - Department of Natural Compound Chemistry, Central Highlands Research Institute.
- Dr. Pham Hung - Deputy Director of the Resource and Environmental Monitoring Center of Lam Dong Province.
From the university leadership, the attendees included:
- Dr. Tran Huu Duy – Representative of the Party Committee and Head of the Training Management Department.
During the ceremony, Ms. Trinh Thi Diep – Head of the Chemistry and Environmental Science Department – delivered a meaningful speech to mark the start of the 2023 – 2024 academic year.
Dr. Tran Huu Duy, representing the Party Committee and Head of the Training Management Department at Dalat University, also delivered a speech, offering guidance and congratulations to the faculty and students of the department for the new academic year.
At the inauguration ceremony, the Chemistry and Environmental Science Department recognized outstanding students from the 47th regular undergraduate admission exam, as well as those with excellent achievements in scientific research and student union activities during the 2022-2023 academic year. The students received certificates and awards funded by the alumni scholarship fund.
Mr. Pham Thanh Minh, Director of the Center for Research and Production of Radioactive Isotopes and an alumnus of the Chemistry program, also shared valuable knowledge and experience with all students of the department.
Finally, Le Do Linh An, class representative of HDK47, gave a speech on behalf of the new students, sharing their thoughts and aspirations for the new academic year.
The inauguration ceremony for the 2023-2024 academic year concluded in a solemn and exciting atmosphere, marking a great start for a new year filled with knowledge and success.
