The Doctoral program in Analytical Chemistry aims to develop high-level expertise in both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Upon completion of the program, doctoral candidates will have in-depth knowledge of modern analytical techniques, including chromatographic methods such as GC, GC-MS, HPLC, spectroscopic methods like AAS and ICP-MS, as well as nuclear analytical techniques, sample preparation methods, and sample enrichment techniques.
Graduates of the program will be capable of independent and innovative research, organizing and managing projects, and leading scientific endeavors. They will be involved in projects determining the composition of elements and chemical compounds that negatively impact the environment and public health. They will participate in environmental quality monitoring programs and engage in teaching, training, and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students in Analytical Chemistry.
