Based on the “Regulations on Admission for Undergraduate and Associate Degree Programs in Early Childhood Education” for 2022 issued along with Circular No. 08/2022/TT-BGDĐT dated June 6, 2022, by the Minister of Education and Training; Based on the “Regulations on Undergraduate Admissions of Da Lat University” issued along with Decision No. 140/QĐ-ĐHĐL dated March 9, 2023, by the President of Da Lat University;

Based on Decision No. 1139/QĐ-BGDĐT dated April 15, 2024, by the Ministry of Education and Training regarding the issuance of the Plan for Implementing University and Associate Degree Admissions for Early Childhood Education in 2024, and Official Letter No. 1957/BGDĐT-GDĐH dated April 26, 2024, by the Ministry of Education and Training guiding university and associate degree admissions for Early Childhood Education;

Da Lat University announces the guidelines for direct admission and priority admission for regular undergraduate programs in 2024 as follows:

1. Categories Eligible for Direct Admission According to the Ministry of Education and Training’s Regulations – Admission Code: 301

(a) Labor Heroes, People’s Armed Forces Heroes, and National Emulation Soldiers are eligible for direct admission into the programs specified by the University.

(b) Candidates who have won first, second, or third prizes in national or international student competitions or in national or international science and technology competitions organized by the Ministry of Education and Training and were sent to participate are eligible for direct admission in the year of high school graduation (or intermediate graduation); the award must have been obtained within the last 3 years from the date of direct admission.

(c) Based on the candidate’s high school academic results and the requirements of the training program, the Principal may review and decide to admit the following cases (where necessary, the condition may be that the candidate must complete an additional year of knowledge enhancement before officially starting their studies):

• Candidates with severe disabilities who have an official disability certificate issued by a competent authority and are able to follow certain programs specified by the University but are not able to apply through regular admission methods;
• Candidates from ethnic minorities with very small populations as per the current regulations of the Government, and candidates from the 20 poor border and island districts in the Southwestern region;
• Candidates who have resided for at least 3 years, studied for 3 years, and graduated from high school in poor districts (ethnic minority boarding school students are counted based on their place of residence) according to Government and Prime Minister regulations;
• Foreign candidates who have passed a Vietnamese language proficiency and knowledge test meeting the current regulations of the Minister of Education and Training.

1. Priority Admission – Admission Code: 301

(a) Candidates specified in points (a) and (b) of Section 1 may apply to programs of their choice (without using the direct admission privilege);

(b) Candidates who received encouragement prizes in the national student competitions or fourth prizes in national science and technology competitions may apply to programs relevant to the subjects or topics in which they won prizes; the award must have been obtained within the last 3 years from the date of admission consideration.

3. Direct Admission Criteria According to Da Lat University’s Admission Regulations – Admission Code: 303

For teacher training programs: The university will directly admit students who have won first, second, or third prizes at the provincial level, or those with excellent academic records for three consecutive years, provided that the primary subject relevant to the chosen program has a minimum average score of 8.0 in their 12th grade year. The university prioritizes admission based on the average score in the primary subject. The primary subjects for admission to teacher training programs are as follows:

For other programs: The university will directly admit students who have achieved excellent grades for three consecutive years at high schools or have won first, second, or third prizes at the provincial level in subjects related to the chosen programs.

4. Submitting Direct Admission Applications:

Candidates must submit their direct admission applications to Da Lat University by 5:00 PM on June 30, 2024, through the following methods:

(a) Online Registration:

1. Candidates should visit the university’s admissions website at https://tuyensinh.dlu.edu.vn and select the “Direct Admission” section.
2. Choose the admission method: Direct Admission – Priority Admission 2024.
3. Fill in all required information and upload proof documents for each direct admission category. Candidates can apply for an unlimited number of programs.
4. After clicking the registration button, the system will send an email with an account and password for candidates to log in and check their admission results and receive notifications about their application status.
5. Pay the application fee: After registering, candidates must pay the direct admission fee (20,000 VND per program) via bank account according to the system’s instructions. Applications will be invalid without payment.
6. Note: – Candidates should refer to the system’s instructions for complete registration procedures.
   – Candidates must use the same ID number used for registration with the Ministry of Education and Training to apply to Da Lat University.

(b) Submission by Mail or In-Person:

Submit the application directly to the university or via express mail to the address:

The application should include:

1. Direct Admission Application Form (according to the format: Form 1 for candidates specified in points (a) and (b) of Section 1; Form 2 for candidates specified in point (c) of Section 1; Form 3 for candidates specified in Section 3; download the forms at https://dlu.edu.vn/document/);
2. Certified copies of documents for direct admission candidates;
3. Certified copy of high school transcript;
4. Application fee: 20,000 VND per program (payable via bank account or directly at the university).

Note: – Candidates must use the correct application form provided by Da Lat University. – Each candidate may apply for no more than 3 programs.
